Workshop on the European Language Data Space (LDS): Opportunities for Language Technology and AI Development in Europe.
Join us for an insightful workshop on the ongoing efforts within the European Language Data Space (LDS) project, which aims to enhance language data sharing and technology development across the EU. This initiative opens up new opportunities for cross-border communication, machine translation, and multilingual services for Danish and other European languages.
The workshop will cover how the LDS supports local industries, research groups, and public administrations in integrating the new language data exchange infrastructure. It will highlight how organisations can connect with European networks, monetise language data, and benefit from the trustworthy infrastructures available across Europe.
The workshop will also engage Danish stakeholders from private and public sectors to discuss:
- the needs for high-quality language data and key aspects such as composition of domains and modalities, and
- the current drivers and barriers data owners face in terms of sharing data such as data maturity and legal uncertainties.
The event will be held in Copenhagen and conclude with a networking session. You are warmly invited to join us and explore the exciting possibilities within the Language Data Space!
